Whew, take a deep breath! I am about to try and dive into one of the most complex... and TOUCHY... facets of the second movie. We all loved how Hiccup changed the world in the first film, we loved the line "300 years, and I'm the first Viking who wouldn't kill a dragon!", but then HTTYD2 comes out... and we figure out that Hiccup most certainly wasn't the first viking to ride a dragon. The question becomes... did Hiccup inherit his dragon-training, culture changing world-view from his mother, and does what Valka did take away from the significance of Hiccup's own actions back in HTTYD1. Obviously, this topic is touchy, and should be! If you want to venture with me into it, please click the "read more". Please note: this isn't meant to be a Valka hate post. She has many, many wonderful facets, so if I say negative things about her, keep in mind that I love her as a character... with all of her flaws and yet all of her beautiful strengths!
Hello! I am Usertoothless, and I am a Christian, a HUGE HTTYD fanboy, a Berk's Grapevine "Dragon Master", and all around nerd. This is my personal blog where I post HTTYD opinions, news, fanart, and fan fictions (along with the occasion content from my other fandoms). I hope you will enjoy what you see here. Here's to Hiccup and Toothless and their fantastic friendship which literally changed my life!

Digital painting: Mabel meets Toothless!
I got the time to do a quick digital painting today! I had the idea while Justoffravenpoint visited me this spring break, and now I have gotten the idea down into a digital format! It isn't a particularly fancy painting, but I hope it is entertaining! Any fans of Gravity Falls will hopefully appreciate it!
Photoset: Cloudjumper in Flight
I received a request for a photoset today, so since I had time I decided to get it posted promptly! If you click the "read more" the page should load a little over two dozen screen captures of Cloudjumper in flight. Unfortunately, because flying requires a lot of movement, you will get some shots that are a little blurry. Still, a lot of them are neat, and hopefully while looking at them you'll get to see how fantastically well designed Cloudjumper's anatomy is.

GotNF is SO canon!
This isn't gonna be a long post at all really... but I might as well post something as opposed to nothing! These are just a couple of thoughts I had while Justoffravenpoint was staying with me and we marathoned through the best of the HTTYD film series. Hope you enjoy my thoughts, brief as they might be (and YES, I am still talking about a twenty minute short that came out nearly four years ago. GotNF is that good).

Happy HTTYD Day!!!
Welp, if any of you who read my blog don't know, today is HTTYD Day! By that I mean, today is the day I celebrate the release of HTTYD in the US, back on March 26, 2010! Boy, it has been a crazy five years. I almost can't believe it... I've been a die hard fan of this movie for an entire quarter of my life! Well, here's to Hiccup and Toothless yet again. Thanks so much you two... thanks so very, very much.
Anyway, I'll certainly be watching the first movie over again today! Agh, sadly I can't go home because of school stuff, so I'll probably wind up watching it all alone this evening. I'm still looking forward to it, though. I'll go out and by some snack food, put on an HTTYD tee, gather my Toothless toys, and put on my Night Fury slippers. It is time to celebrate HTTYD's fifth anniversary! Who knows what the future of Hiccup and Toothless may hold, but I certainly know that the past is something worth looking back on and marveling at. I really do just love that movie.

The moment the Hero was made
Well, sadly all good things (and it seems especially all great things) must eventually come to an end... at least until eternity. So, spring break came and went for me. My friend Justoffravenpoint came and stayed with me for the entire week. I cannot even begin to tell you how much fun we had. She has returned home now, but I wanted to show you all one of the things that we did. Justoffravenpoint and myself, Usertoothless, worked together to make a collaboration art piece as a gift for the two HTTYD fans who are commonly referred to as Inhonoredglory and Toothlesslove. It was an awesome experience, Justoffravenpoint and I working both on the same project, and I think we were both really happy with how it turned out. I can also say that the two people who we sent the gift to have replied and told us that they both really do like it a lot, so that makes me, and I am sure Justoffravenpoint, extremely happy. Welp, I doubt you guys will be seeing much of me!
I will probably not be making many posts in these next couple of days. Justoffravenpoint has come to visit me! This is extremely exciting and the two of us have been having a lot of fun. Currently, we are planning to have an HTTYD movie marathon in which we watch strait through HTTYD, GotNF, and then HTTYD2 (yep... we are not planning to watch the tv series).
As of now we've also been thinking up art pieces, finding gifs, frame by framing through some of HTTYD2, discussing Dsplash (she is one of the most consistent readers, so I have to try REALLY hard not to give her spoilers). That is actually really fun... because it is not often that I get to talk with someone who knows about my story and really enjoys it! Also, we've been watching through the Lord of The Rings films! She has read the books, but this is her first time to see the movies. Then we've tossed in some Gravity Falls, Super Smash Bros., and Legend of Zelda. It has been really enjoyable. Our conversations go all over the spectrum, and it is just the coolest thing to be able to just talk HTTYD pretty much non-stop without the other person getting bored!
So, if I seem absent, that is why! I hope you are all doing well and having a nice spring break (if this week is your spring break...).
