This is the map of the world. Certain locations mentioned in the Chronicles can be found here. The small white dots are portals. This is a large image, so perhaps opening it in a new window will allow you to read the names of the locations if you are interested.
Venevonix Diamond. A very lethal Gemnode and a good example of general Gemnode anatomy. He is a brilliant hand to hand combatant and has absorbed every ounce of ability from characters like Link, Thor, and the Witch King. He will appear in future chronicles and play a prominent, terrible role.
This is Souldrinker, the deletion blade, and the weapon that killed Hiccup. Link would later take it to the mirror and transform it into Deathquencher. Deathquencher would then be used to bring Hiccup back from the torment of deletion and pretty much start a war that would cross all dimensions.
Sardilic tortures Hiccup. This is the disturbing thing. In the deletion void Sardilic was allowed to torture Hiccup in any way he chose. He made the boy see horrifying hallucinations and quickly gave Hiccup psychological damage by doing so. He then, after getting bored, shapeshifted into a dragon and proceeded to eat Hiccup. One cannot die in the deletion void, you reappear eventually, so Hiccup went through that death agony and still had to return to be put through more hallucinations. Sardilic is without question the most wicked character in the story, and Hiccup still struggles with nightmarish visions after having been under the Gemnodes tortures. You'll be seeing a lot more of Sardilic in future Chronicles. His action of eating Hiccup was so violent that it actually repulsed the other Gemnodes.
And on a more pleasant note, this is a piece of fan art made by Inhonoredglory! Hiccup and Link are the main human protagonists, and pretty much all the stories will center around them. They are adopted brothers ever since Link saved Hiccup after the battle against the Red Death. They work well together, but at the same time they are very different, and sometimes those differences lead to comical disagreements or teasing!
